Browse a curated selection of plants from Kings Plant Barn, chat one-on-one with landscape designers in the Meet the Designers Lounge, and pick up practical ideas and tips to help transform your own outdoor space.

Garden Workshops

Garden Hub, 11am - 4pm daily

Roll up your sleeves and learn something new. Our How To Workshops run throughout the show, covering everything from propagation and potting to pruning and solving common garden challenges. Led by experienced gardening experts, you’ll pick up practical tips and techniques you can put into practice at home.

On the Village Green, Daily

Take a little inspiration home with you. If something catches your eye in the Garden Showcase, there’s a good chance you can add it to your own garden. Kings Plant Barn, Official Plant Partner of the Auckland Garden Showcase, will have a dedicated retail space stocked with many of the beautiful plants featured throughout this year’s display gardens.

Get personalised advice for your outdoor space. Visit the Meet the Designers Lounge and chat one-on-one with an experienced landscape designer about your project. Whether you’re tackling a difficult area, planning a complete garden makeover or simply looking for inspiration, you’ll receive practical advice tailored to your garden.

FREE 'Easy As' Kids Workshop

10:30 - 12:00PM Sunday, Garden Hub, hosted by Mitre 10

Little green thumbs, this one’s for you. Join the team from Mitre 10 for a fun, hands-on DIY workshop where kids can build a special project for the garden to take home. All materials are provided, and each session runs for approximately 40–45 minutes. Suitable for children aged 6–12 years, with an accompanying adult.
